Writing in an apartment in Naples, Italy

Tess Harding started writing fiction at the age of 9, but had to wait until she was 24 before being published professionally. That was a long time ago, and somewhere along the way real life demanded her attention and she drifted away from writing until recently.

Tess writes erotic fiction which, she sincerely believes, is different. Many works under that banner consist of graphic and extreme sex. Tess believes that true eroticism only comes from character and storyline. Therefore, her fiction may take a while to get going, but it will get you there in the end and, it can be argued, will result in greater satisfaction.

Tess Harding lives with her husband close to Hereford, near the border between England and Wales, where myth is still strong and civilization a thin veneer. She loves to travel when she can, particularly France and Italy, as well as making forays back to America when possible.

A message from Tess

You know how you sometimes pick up or download a book or story with great erotic promise, and are then disappointed because it fails to deliver that extra something, that kick that makes the story worth reading for something other than the sex?

Well, I like to think that I write stories that deliver on more than one level, that are arousing (because that’s why we read them), emotional, thought provoking and literate (and no, I don’t mean literary, God forbid!).

You may have read fiction by other erotic authors and been disappointed. Many erotic stories concentrate on graphic descriptions of sex, but forget that the most erotic emotions are generated by real characters interacting in real situations.

My mission is to write a different kind of erotica, from stories of lesbian lust to first love, steamy romance to sizzling erotica, I hope you find something to make you sit up and notice among my work. I also believe that much erotica offers poor value for money. Therefore, my promise to you is that I will only ever charge a fair cost for any of my works of fiction. In general, this means that shorter works are available for under $1, and none of the fiction titles will cost more than $5.

The romantic and sexual build up was paced extraordinarily well; the sensuality and sex was delivered with incredible heat; and, perhaps most importantly, it’s an honest and truthful story of two people meeting and joining together, getting their human needs of passion and lovingness satisfied by the other.
