Not sure if that title should be a statement or a question. I guess it’s a question, because I’m asking for your help. Cherri Red is turning out long. And I mean really long. The story is split into three distinct segments.

The first takes place when Dani and Cherri are eighteen and tells of their first attraction at summer camp.

The next skips forward ten years to when both Dani and Cherri are successful in their own fields. They meet up again but things are different between them.

The last section is another ten years later. Dani has come to terms with her own demons, but Cherri is falling apart. Do they get together at last, or has too much time passed? You’ll have to wait and see.

Anyway – the big question. I can continue working on this as a three part novel, which is likely to top out at 140,000+ words – somewhere around 500 pages or so. Or I can split it into three separate books. At the moment I’m minded to split it.

So the next question is: If I split it, do I publish the first book as soon as it’s ready – probably a month or two, or do I wait until all three are ready and publish together? Which would you, dear reader, prefer? A wait between each book, or the chance to read each episode as it becomes available?
